On the day after President Trump’s first and very powerful State of the Union address it seems fitting to revisit his inauguration and that moment he placed his hand on two Bibles to be sworn in. It was a historical event which so moved RuthEllen Boerman that she created an amazing painting which captures the spirituality and depth of the moment. Pictured here are the hands of President Trump and Melania placed on Lincoln’s Bible and Trump’s childhood Bible.
The original painting has been gifted to President Trump and may one day be featured in the White House. The picture shown here is Sue Frazier-Jones, on behalf of RuthEllen, giving Congressman Mark Meadows the picture. He will take the painting and present it to President Trump himself. Meadows has a close relationship with Trump, who often seeks Mark’s counsel regarding tough conservative legislation. As Chairman of the Freedom Caucus, Mark has proven to have both influence and wisdom greatly valued by our president.
RuthEllen Boerman is an amazing local treasure who blends her Christian ministry with her talent. You can learn more about RuthEllen, her ministry and her art at TrueVineStudio.com.
Included in the picture are: Left to right, Merry Guy, HCGOP Chair; Harvey Sankey, HCGOP Treasurer; Jane Bilello, Asheville Tea Party Chair; Congressman Mark Meadows and Sue Frazier-Jones, Rugby Precinct Chair. RuthEllen could not be there for the presentation. Picture was taken at the WNC Gun Show.
