In just 28 days, the country will elect a new president. In North Carolina, we will either retain conservative Republican incumbents in the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of our government, or turn things back to tax & spend liberal Democrats. Here in Henderson County, we have an opportunity to bring some fresh faces to a shop-worn school board.
And right now, there are 8,835 Republicans registered in our county who have no NC voting record for either 2012 or 2014. Imagine the difference we could make statewide if even half that number turned out to vote this time. (In 2012, Dan Forest became Lt. Governor by just 6,000-some votes).
Among the 8,835…our neighbors. Just across or down the street. A brief conversation (and a 2016 HCGOP handbill) away.
You know your neighborhood, and you share our concern that every available Republican vote in Henderson County is cast come November 8th.
Help us to that end.
Let us know the street(s) that make up your neighborhood. We’ll send you a list of the Republicans on those streets who have no 2012 or 2014 NC voting record. Take a handbill to them (such as you see here, or available at our Campaign office), and encourage them to exercise this important privilege. If not for themselves, at least for any children or grand children.
Every step we take in that direction helps to grow our vote count.
